LIGHT PILLS! What is the CRI Index?

We are ready to delve into the more complex issues… Do you know what the CRI index is?

It is the fact that best helps us understand if a lamp has a good quality light source.

CRI is the acronym of COLOR RENDERING INDEX and measures the accuracy of a light source in returning a certain color to our eyes.

This scale goes from 0 to 100, the higher the CRI the better the color rendering ability.

Always look for lights with CRI above 80! LEDs with CRI higher than 90 are recommended for more technical applications such as work environments but above all for commerce.

Think about when in a shop you choose a nice lemon yellow shirt.. and as soon as you go out into the sunlight you realize that it's actually a dull yellow!!
